2019: Paskong Saya Handog ng MPT South @ Brgy. Zapote V, Bacoor
Bacoor, Cavite – Guided by its mission in giving back to the community and bringing good life to people, Metro Pacific Tollways South held its annual Paskong Saya Handog ng MPT South Gift Giving Project last December 14, 2019 at Barangay Zapote V Plaza, Bacoor, Cavite.
Being one of Cavitex’ host communities, Barangay Zapote V warmly welcomed all 40 members of VEST or Volunteer Employees of South Tollways – the volunteer arm of MPT South, as they bring on the Christmas Spirit early.
In cooperation with Easytrip Services Corporation and Tollways Multipurpose Cooperative, VEST gave away free snacks and gifts to the lucky 150 children of the said barangay.
MPT South President and General Manager Roberto V. Bontia, who generously spent his Saturday morning as part of VEST, gave his early Christmas Message to our kabarangays. “Maraming salamat sa mainit na pagtanggap ng Barangay Zapote V sa mga Volunteers ng VEST. At mula sa amin sa MPT South, at sa pamilya ng CAVITEX, maligayang pasko po sa inyong lahat!”, said Sir Bobby.
Barangay Zapote V Captain Ernesto de Rosas also expressed his utmost gratitude on behalf of his community to all the support CAVITEX has been giving to them throughout these years. “Mula sa pagdodonate ng cleaning materials, hanggang sa ganitong klaseng programa, nagpapasalamat kami sa CAVITEX dahil hindi kayo nagsasawang sumuporta at magbigay ng tulong sa aming barangay. Makakaasa din kayo sa aming suporta tungo sa kaayusan ng mga proyektong inyong ipapatupad sa CAVITEX.”
Aside from giving away toys, clothes and other gifts, the program also includes two hours of entertainment, games and giveaways courtesy of Jestler the Magician and Jollibee, which really hyped the young crowd that morning.
Truly, ‘tis the season for gift giving and spreading love this holiday season. And as long as the fire of volunteerism keeps on shining through the hearts of MPTSouth Family, we will never run out of ways to give happiness to all our communities.
